VBKOM performed activities required to ensure full alignment between the Competent Person’s Report (CPR) and the Life of Mine (LoM) plan, in compliance with SAMREC reporting standards.
Throughout the assignment, the technical work was coordinated to ensure consistency between the project inputs, analyses and deliverables. Activities were undertaken with the agreed project objectives and future requirements in mind, ensuring that the outputs remained relevant and usable. The final documentation brought the technical findings together in a structured format, providing the client with a clear foundation for review, decision-making and progression into subsequent phases of work.
The technical methodology considered the characteristics and requirements applicable to Coal Surface Mining in South Africa, with due consideration given to the operating context, available project information and relevant study parameters.
A structured programme of technical activities was undertaken to fulfil the assignment requirements and develop the available information into meaningful outputs for the project.
