The scope of work was to assess the economic potential of adding base metals and PGMs to the current operation and tests an underground mining method for faster, more cost-effective access and production.

The work programme brought together the technical activities required to address the assignment and translate the available information into practical project outputs. This included open pit production schedules, an underground layout and schedule with findings and recommendations.

Consideration was given to the specific operating environment associated with PGM Surface Mining in Zimbabwe, ensuring that the technical assessment remained relevant to the conditions and requirements of the project.

All technical activities and deliverables were coordinated to support a consistent approach and remain aligned with the project objectives. The resulting work brought together the required analysis, documentation and communication in a clear and structured manner. This provided the client with a practical basis for reviewing the findings, making informed decisions and progressing the project into its next stage.
