VBKOM was contracted to assess the phosphate resource and provide the following:
- Geological model of the phosphate deposit
- Block model to evaluate the Mineral Resource
- Provide an Independent Competent Person’s Report (CPR)
- Mineral Resource statement in accordance to the SAMREC Code, 2016.
The work programme incorporated the key activities and outputs identified for the assignment, including SAMREC CPR. The technical approach was applied within the context of Phosphate Surface Mining in South Africa, ensuring that the project-specific operating and study environment remained central to the assessment.
A coordinated approach was followed to ensure that the various technical inputs and activities contributed meaningfully to the overall project objective. Particular emphasis was placed on producing outputs that were technically sound, clearly documented and appropriate for their intended use. The completed scope provided the client with an accessible and reviewable set of findings that could support decision-making and guide further project development.
