Independent Assurance for Gold Resources and Reserves

This engagement focused on conducting the independent audit of the Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves in the FY2024 financial period, with emphasis on robust technical analysis, stakeholder alignment, and decision support.

VBKOM incorporated the key activities and outputs identified for the assignment, including a Site Visit, Audit & Guidance, Report & Graphs, as well as a Summary Report & Letter of Approval.

The technical approach was applied within the context of Gold Surface Mining in South Africa, ensuring that the project-specific operating and study environment remained central to the assessment. Particular attention was given to traceability of technical inputs, internal consistency and the clear presentation of assumptions, findings and supporting information for review and sign-off where required.
