The scope of work was to conduct a comprehensive physical asset verification and condition assessment for Sentech’s vast national infrastructure, which includes hundreds of transmitter sites. The project aimed to reconcile physical equipment with the financial asset register to ensure regulatory compliance. Key activities and outputs included Verified Asset Register: A cleansed and updated Fixed Asset Register (FAR) that accurately reflects the location, condition, and valuation of all broadcasting equipment. Condition Assessment Reports: Detailed technical assessments.

The approach was applied within the context of Capital-Intensive Industries within South Africa, keeping the project-specific operating and study environment central to the assessment.

All technical activities and deliverables were coordinated to support a consistent approach and remain aligned with the project objectives. The resulting work brought together the required analysis, documentation and communication in a clear and structured manner. This provided the client with a practical basis for reviewing the findings, making informed decisions and progressing the project into its next stage.
